Became a photo-journalist after retirement. At the London-Sydney marathon he was forced to abandon the trip when his passport were stolen in Bombay. Baghetti still remains the only driver to have won his first ever World Championship race, (aside from Nino Farina, who won the first ever World Championship GP. Died from cancer.
