Was a part of the construction of Circuit de Catalunya. Once remarked to Fangio when he returned to the pits with a badly damaged car: 'You don't have to be a World Champion to do that. I could have done it!'. Founded a museum in Barcelona with both art and his racing mementoes wich still runs.
