Built his first Sports car wich debuted successfully 1970. The Ligier F1 team ran their blue cars between 1976-1996.
Guy sold most of his shareholding in 1992-93.
In 1997 he sold the remaning 18% to Flavio Briatore.
Flavio later sold the team for a handsome profit to Alain Prost.
In 2015 Ligier will be back at LeMans with a new car
