From 1951 onwards, Cade raced extensively in SCCA races on the East Coast of the United States campaigning a 1935 V8RI Grand Prix Maserati (Chassis 4501). Cade and his V8RI also participated successfully at the Mount Washington Hillclimb from the mid-fifties to the early 1960's.
