Finished on podium in his first 9 races, Where at some point race leader in his first 7 races, after the 4th GP 2007 he became the youngest ever World Championchip leader and kept the led until the final race, won & took pole at his 6th GP, Canada 2007. He is also the youngest Briton to win a Grand Prix. Could have taken the WDC 2007 at the Chinese GP but retired. Almost lost the title 2008 when he was passed by Vettel with 3 laps to go but passed Glock 2 corners before finish and became the youngest F1 Driver Champion ever, a record beaten by S Vettel 2010. Lewis took his 100th pole at the Spanish GP 2010 Has scored points in 250 different races. Has at least one podium in 16 consecutive seasons 200 starts for Mercees at Abu Dhabi GP 2022, first evere to reach that milestone while driveing for the same constructor.
